Angelo Vitelli

A professional specialized in tax and contractual consulting for the sports sector, he has a broad academic background: he graduated with top honors in both Law and Economics, with a particular focus on taxation and labor law as applied to the sports industry.

He is the author of several editorial and academic publications, including a recent article in the journal “RDES – Rivista di diritto ed economia dello sport”, titled “Star Companies and Image Rights in Sports Performance Contracts: The Thin Line Between Lawful, Evasive, and Illicit Transactions.”

As the founder of The Tax Playbook, he supports athletes, agents, and amateur sports clubs (ASD and SSD) in managing new contractual frameworks and regulatory compliance under Italy’s recent sports reform.

In parallel, he has also worked as a basketball coach since the age of 18, gaining experience in both senior and youth national-level championships.
