At the May 30 meeting, the Federal Council amended Article 96 of the NOIF. on the "Preparation award". According to the new regulations, this premium is only due to clubs in the National Amateur League for the enhancement of young players who have moved from a one-year to a multi-year tie. Another change made concerns the number of LND clubs benefiting from the premium over the training period (which increases from three to five years): there will be three and no longer two. A share corresponding to one-fifth of the entire training premium has been established for each of the clubs involved. The new provisions will come into effect from July 1, 2019. "We believe it is a measure that recognizes the efforts made by amateur clubs to nurture young talent" - commented the LND President Cosimo Sibilia.
