My passion for soccer I do not remember exactly when it was born, certainly before the age of 6, when I embarked on my “career” as an amateur soccer player that lasted for 30 wonderful years that passed too quickly. When this wonderful adventure ended, I asked myself: and now? How can I continue to cultivate this passion? With what role? The role of observer has always intrigued me since my playing days, I have always been intrigued by everything about this profession, and the dream of being able to pursue this profession full-time is still alive within me.

A year ago I began to get information about possible training courses for the role of football observer,learning about SBA,

Having taken the necessary information, I decided to enroll in this course, which I took in Milan from December 2 to 5, 2019.

I think it took only half a day to realize that I had made the right choice, in addition to the courses that turned out to be interesting with topics covered more than thoroughly, what struck me was the great helpfulness as well as the great humility of the teaching staff who for the entire course made me feel at ease, listening to our opinions and several times conveying to me the feeling that they continue to want to learn despite being professionals in the field.

What do I say to kids who want to take this path?

Well, at first I was hesitant, in this day and age to take a blunder is a moment, then I said...But yeah come on, I'll give it a try...I'll risk it...and it all worked out great.

For those who have doubts, I highly recommend attending the open days just to get an idea, especially for those who sometimes make offhand comments on social media thinking they know about soccer.

Now finished the first phase of the internship, in which I evaluated 9 objective players on video and carried out monitoring on the field, 50 hours of internship at a professional company await me, where I will go to expand my knowledge and continue my education, continuing to study, yes... Study, because in soccer as in life there is always learning... SBA has shown me the way, now it's up to me to continue it in the best way.
